About Holly

HollySelfie2025.jpg

Holly Trevan is an accomplished artist with over 25 years of experience as a professional photographer. A proud citizen of the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Potawatomi (Gun Lake Tribe), she works to preserve her tribal history while documenting contemporary cultural events. Her style is rooted in documentary storytelling—whether through a commercial assignment or a meaningful gathering, she approaches each project with energy, care, and joy.

Holly earned a BFA in Photography and Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She shares her love and knowledge of photography through community workshops, while continuing her own journey as a student of painting and encaustics. At the heart of her practice is a commitment to telling stories with intention, authenticity, and care.

I approach photographing events with joyful energy and confidence. By creating an atmosphere where clients and guests feel at ease, I allow authentic moments to unfold naturally. My documentary style captures the spirit of each gathering along with the meaningful connections that make it memorable.

In addition to events, I offer lifestyle portrait sessions for commercial clients. I have a gift for helping people feel relaxed in front of the camera, and my sessions are quick—resulting in portraits that feel authentic and approachable.

Please send me a note with your project ideas and I will send more samples of my work
